I have always been fascinated by business because of its many dynamic aspects. And business is an exchange. 

I first started working in business when I was in college. I helped people and small businesses discover and align selected technology to enable or extend their business capability. 

In my early days, I studied eCommerce business set up, IT infrastructure, and marketing. I then worked with the SBA consulting with SBA clients on online business set up, marketing outreach, and formulating technology solutions to drive efficiency and growth. 

In just 30 years from 1995 to 2025, the world went from no Internet to a booming Internet where technology has become prolific.

In 2000 as I finished up my Bachelors Degree and eCommerce business concentration, I worked with Google when Google was only a couple years old and when people were asking what will happen with Google and online search. It was a huge speculation and gamble. 

Back in that day, digital marketing was new to everyone. In 2003, I opened a digital marketing agency, which at the time was groundbreaking. 

By 2005, several hundred small digital marketing agencies had cropped up to both serve as well as define new markets. It was a blue ocean.

Over this time, I helped numerous people set up their services, products, and business operations online.

Along this journey, I also created a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) course, wrote a book on SEM and two more on SEO, and taught industry best practices and little known secrets to many. 

Given these were some of the first books and courses in the industry, it wasn’t easy. Most of my research was first-hand and I knocked on many doors to interview people representing many industries and across many roles, to find out what they were doing and to uncover what worked – and what didn’t. 

I have been gifted with the opportunity to help clients and companies with their business strategy to managing and delivering full-scale technology solutions and digital products.
